DosBox/DosBox turbo/DosBox manager differences and similarities (part 1)

First, for you to know, i use DosBox 0.74 for windows 7 ultimate, DosBox turbo 2.1.17a and DosBox manager 2.1.15a, at this time of writing this blog. I will put the versions that i use, in the right, too.
Learning the differences between them, you will know what is in dosbox 0.74, wich i use in windows 7 ultimate and what is in DosBox turbo and DosBox manager. DosBox manager is made by the same developer, as for DosBox turbo. See DosBox manager like the virtual shelf in GOG site. You made a .conf file for a game, in DosBox turbo, and run the game, without using DosBox turbo. But you want to use DosBox turbo, to understand things, too. The below letters are in bold and are from dosbox 0.74.conf file and DosBox turbo/DosBox manager. There, in 0.74.conf file, doxbox turbo and DosBox manager, are not in bold of course.
If below you will see a red @, you will know that, that lines are present in DosBox, and not in DosBox turbo and DosBox manager.
So, because i don't want to bore you to death, below, for DosBox, are only a part of the .conf file.  For DosBox turbo and DosBox manager, i will show all info.
If the DosBox turbo and DosBox manager are using the same lines like in DosBox, you will see a blue @
The differences between DosBox turbo and DosBox manager are on the end of this post. Download my dosbox
0.74.conf file from me or get it from dosbox 0.74, by installing it, if you want to see all info. The next topic in the blog i will enter every line and show the other info it contains, using images and a video, info used from this topic and more.

Dosbox .cfg file

Multiplayer dos games list

Here, before i will test, review any dos games on my smartphone with DosBox turbo, i will post any links found, of multiplayer dos games. The below list, for example shows, beside the games, the network communications protocol. They are a set of rules for the PC machines, that they can communicate wich each other, for multiplayer games.

==  Multiplayer Options : IPX   ==
Games marked with this attribute can network with 4 or more computers on an IPX network (presumably running Novell) to enable multiplayer gameplay.
IPX

==  Multiplayer Options : Null-modem cable  ==
A null-modem cable is a serial cable with pins 2 and 3 reversed at one end. Connecting this cable between two computers allows them to communicate easily. Games that support null-modem cables can obviously only network between two computers.

       ==  NetBIOS  ==

NetBIOS

Multiplayer Options : PBeM (Play-by-E-mail)
Games marked as PBeM (Play by Email) allows to be played via Email. The game must support such an option directly; manually mailing hotseat save games does not count as PBeM.
 Play by email

Multiplayer Options : Same/Split-Screen Multiplayer
Support for multiple players to play on the same gaming screen to play a non-turn-based multi-player game. This only applies to "real-time" games, such as action or arcade games.
Same screen

Of course, in DosBox turbo, a player will see on its own screen, what the other player do. The same with the other.

Multiplayer Options : Internet
Games marked with this attribute can network with 2 or more systems running a TCP/IP stack to enable multiplayer gameplay over the Internet.

My specs and some info about it

Compare my specs with yours. I'm not claiming my specs are the best in the world. The most important thing i consider to be are : the RAM, resolution, frecvency, WLan (you need a wifi connection to play between two machines with android system) and operating system version (i will talk about the version later). I found them impotant for DosBox turbo. Your specs may vary, but having for example 1000 of RAM and not 1024, is not a problem. I know 1024 is maybe 1000, but i give you just an example. So is for frecvency 1,2. You can have 1 (with dual core specs, wich almost all phones do). I have a romanian smarthphone with the following specs :

The reason behind this blog

Hi. My alias is Roarke, here, from Romania and we are two twin brothers. We are modding Quake 2 Dawn of Darkness mod and Kingpin: Life of Crime, from moddb (a modding site for pc games, android etc.) alias Roarkes and we are a translator on Abandonia forum, alias Roarke. On a road or if you prefer, in your vacancy, you can play your favorite ms-dos game with DosBox Turbo, on android system.

Kingpin: Life of Crime

The reason behind writing this blog is that, besides the links below, i didn't find reviews on games running on DosBox Turbo (DOSBox is an emulator for windows system) or any tutorials for that matter. I will begin with simpler things and than much more. Single player and multiplayer tutoials, reviews etc. I'm here to help all of you and i don't represent DosBox, DosBox turbo or i make advertising for them, even if they are all great programs. Now, with DosBox Turbo, you can run your favorite dos game with your android system (tablet, smartphone etc.)

What is ms-dos :
MS-DOS (/ˌɛmɛsˈdɒs/ EM-es-DOSS; short for Microsoft Disk Operating System) is an operating system for x86-based personal computers mostly developed by Microsoft. It was the most commonly used member of the DOS family of operating systems, and was the main operating system for IBM PC compatible personal computers during the 1980s to the mid-1990s, until it was gradually superseded by operating systems offering a graphical user interface (GUI), in particular by various generations of the Microsoft Windows operating system.

DosBox manager
DosBox Manager serves as a Game/Profile Manager (similar to D-Fend Reloaded) add-on for DosBox Turbo (required). It makes managing multiple DOSBox configuration files easy by offering a clean interface, shortcuts and a graphical launcher. Once your DOS games are configured in DosBox Manager, its very easy to setup or start them, or alter their configuration.
